Our services support a wide range of needs, including articulation delays, receptive and expressive language disorders, dyslexia, autism-related communication challenges, and voice (i.e., hypernasality, breath support, etc.) and fluency (i.e., stuttering).

We specialize in early intervention, working closely with young children and families to support critical speech and language milestones. For school-age children and teens, we address comprehension difficulties (including dyslexia), phonological awareness, and literacy-related language skills. We also provide targeted treatment for tongue thrust and oral-motor issues that impact speech development.

For adults, we provide specialized speech therapy services to support adults experiencing communication and cognitive challenges, helping improve everyday interactions, memory, problem-solving, and overall quality of life. Each therapy plan is personalized and evidence-based, ensuring compassionate, effective care for every client. Our goal is to provide exceptional services, in which the clients feel valued.

Our Services

🧒 Early Intervention (Ages 0-3)

How Do I Know If My Child Needs Help Early With Their Speech?
Early speech therapy helps young children who may be having trouble with:

  • Talking or using words

  • Understanding what others say

  • Using gestures like pointing or waving

  • Playing or talking with others

A child’s brain grows the most between ages 2 and 5, which makes this the best time to help them learn to communicate.

The sooner we notice and work on these challenges, the better your child will do with talking, learning, and making connections with others.

🗣️ Articulation & Speech Sound Disorders

How Do I know If My Child Needs Help with Articulation?

Articulation disorders happen when a child has difficulty making certain speech sounds correctly. This can make it hard for others to understand what they’re saying and decrease the child’s ability to be easily understood by others.

Speech Sound Development Milestones

  • 2-3 years /p, b, m, d, n, h, t, k, g, w, ng, f, y/

  • 4 years /l, j, ch, s, v, sh, z/

  • 5 years /r, zh, th (voiced)/

  • 6 years /th (voiceless)/

🧠 Receptive & Expressive Language

Voice
A voice disorder can make someone sound hoarse, breathy, strained, too high or low, or cause their voice to tire easily. This can affect people of all ages—children, teens, and adults. Speech therapy supports healthy voice use, helping individuals speak clearly, comfortably, and confidently in daily life.

Fluency (Stuttering)
Fluency challenges, like stuttering, can make it hard to get words out smoothly. This might include repeating sounds, prolonging words, or feeling stuck when speaking. Whether in childhood, adolescence, or adulthood, speech therapy can help reduce tension, improve speech flow, and build confidence in communication.

cognition and memory

💬 Autism & Social Communication

Speech therapy helps build social communication skills in a supportive and fun way—so you or your child can feel more confident, make friends, and express themselves better in everyday life. Many people with autism may find it hard to do the following:

  • Connect with others

  • Begin and maintain conversations

  • Understand social cues like tone of voice, facial expressions, and body language

What is Receptive and Expressive Language?

Receptive language is how we understand what others say. This includes:

  • Following directions

  • Understanding questions

  • Comprehending stories

A delay in receptive language can make it hard to process spoken or written language.

Expressive language is how we use words to share our thoughts. This includes:

  • Asking and answering questions

  • Naming objects

  • Telling or retelling stories or explaining ideas

A delay in expressive language may cause trouble using the right words or forming full sentences.

Toddlers & Preschoolers

  • Limited words for their age

  • Trouble following simple directions

  • Difficulty asking for help or naming objects

We use play-based therapy to help young children grow their understanding and communication skills.

School-Aged Children

  • Struggle with classroom instructions

  • Trouble retelling stories or answering questions

  • Use short or unclear sentences

We build confidence in both understanding and expressing ideas, helping kids succeed in school and social settings.

social skills, pragmatic language

🧠 Cognitive-Communication

For individuals affected by stroke, brain injury, or neurological conditions (such as Parkinson’s or dementia). We help with memory, attention, problem-solving, and language organization.

We provide personalized, evidence-based therapy for adults experiencing communication challenges that impact daily life, work, and relationships. Whether you're navigating a recent diagnosis or have long-standing speech concerns, our goal is to support confident and effective communication.

👅 Tongue Thrust & Oral Habits

articulation skills

We help children and teens overcome tongue thrust and oral habits like thumb sucking, prolonged pacifier use, or mouth breathing. These habits can affect speech sounds, swallowing patterns, and dental development. Therapy focuses on retraining the muscles of the tongue and mouth to support clear speech and healthy growth.
